We are seeking an IT technician contractor. This contractor will assist an IT application team with the installation, setup and initial support for a newly purchased application system called RPS (Repetitive Payment System). This is a LAN-based application system has components on both the LAN and mainframe platforms. We are focusing primarily on locating a technician with the open system (LAN-based) skill set needed to perform these tasks.
- Working directly with IT staff and RPS software vendor during the upcoming installation & setup of the software
- Assisting with the infrastructure components related to the setup (i.e. setting up cycle drivers; location of software directories on the server; testing basic system setup functionality; assisting with related PC workstation software needs, etc.)
- Working with Source Code Administrators to load the corresponding RPS application source & executable elements into the source code version control system (Computer Associates AllFusion Harvest source code management software)
- Coaching staff on the system "basics" once the RPS application is installed
- Setup/support for new RPS developer testing environments
- Participate in converting annuities onto the RPS platform
- Assist with covering day-to-day RPS rollout needs
